The CAD/CAM Advantage

With the use of SolidWorks CAD solid modelling software moulds and tooling are designed around customers native files, or in the case of paper drawings, a solid model is produced of the component around which the mould is designed. This guarantees accurate tool components and surfaces, and insures quick lead times.

Our CAD systems are networked to the tool room and our three CAM systems, AlphaCAM for all 3D machining of electrodes and tool parts, Virtual Gibbs for all 2.5D machining and Esprit for all wire EDM programming.
With our fully automatic CNC machining centres, wire eroders and spark eroders, the tool manufacture is almost fully automated.
